RETAIL MANAGER

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join SS Patel Pty Ltd. (Ampol Uranquinty Store), In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the ongoing success and growth of our store.

As a Retail Manager at SS Patel Pty Ltd , you will oversee every aspect of store operations in your role. Driving store performance, inspiring and leading the team, providing exceptional customer service, efficiently managing budgets, and hitting sales goals are all part of your job description. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies and setting prices

•    Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and care.

•    Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards

•    Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use

•    Undertaking budgeting for the establishment

•    Controlling selection, training, and supervision of staff

•    Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

•    Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions

•    Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services

•    Monitoring and analysing sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement and growth

•    Managing customer feedback and implementing service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction

•    Coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and inventory availability

•    Developing and implementing staff rosters to ensure optimal coverage and efficient workflow

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

•    AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)

•    Minimum 1 year experience as a retail manager or in a similar role. 

•    Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges and customer inquiries.

•    Proficiency with inventory management software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and retail technology.

•    Ability to thrive under pressure while juggling multiple tasks and priorities.

•    A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and exceeding expectations.

•    A results-driven mindset with a desire to meet or exceed sales targets.

WORKING HOURS

Full-time position, 38 hours per week.
