Who we are:

We are a small family owned and operated manufacturing business located in Wagga Wagga NSW. The majority of our work consists of producing semi-trailers. 

About the Position

Lee Fabricating is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and honest vehicle painter to join our team in a full time, permanent position. The role would involve overtime and weekend work.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Use of PPE equipment.
  • Apply painting techniques, apply primer, and finishing coats using spray-guns
  • Carry out pre-painting operations to prepare vehicle surfaces for painting
  • Match paint colours accurately and select pre-mixed paint
  • Follow safety procedures.
  • Use and maintain tools and equipment. 

About You:

  • Be an enthusiastic, positive and willing team member with good communication skills.
  • Experience, Minimum 3 years’ experience. 
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Have a car license or the ability to get to work.
  • Have attention to detail and a high- quality workmanship standard.
  • Have a qualification (or experience) as a vehicle painter.
  • AQF Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent or relevant experience
  • Be physically fit.
  • A forklift license is desirable but not essential.

Salary:

$76,515 to $83,000 per annum. Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with successful applicant.
