Australian Native Landscapes Pty Limited is a 100% Australia family owned and operated business established in 1971 and is celebrating over 50 years in business. ANL has become one of Australia’s largest horticultural manufacturing company’s and is seeking a Production Manager for our large Tea Gardens horticultural facility.
About the role
Reporting to the General Manager you will:
Ensure that all plant and equipment is operated safely and efficiently daily.
Managing the day-to-day work for a team of plant & equipment operators.
Maintain production reporting and report to the Site Operations Manager on the daily production outputs and breakdowns.
Maintain a service schedule.
Liaise with mechanical employees and sub-contractors on a daily basis and schedule services and repairs of plant and equipment.
Conduct regular reviews of tasks being performed and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure tasks are correctly planned and prepared.
Ensure employees are educated in the requirements necessary to operate effectively on site.
Provide training and feedback.
Conduct daily toolbox meetings
Your skills and experience
Proven experience in a related field (desirable) or similar field.
Previous supervisory experience.
Commitment to safety and environment processes.
Knowledge of safety legislation or willing to learn.
Knowledge of NSW environmental legislation or willing to learn.
Excellent communication skills across all levels.
Computer literacy.
