The Chef will be responsible for leading all culinary operations at Nardia’s Kitchen Wollongong, focusing on the consistent delivery of high-quality food, innovative menu development, and effective cost management. This leadership role includes overseeing inventory, ensuring strict compliance with food safety standards, and managing, training, and mentoring the kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow and a positive work environment.

• Lead and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality food.
• Develop and implement menus that reflect market trends, seasonal ingredients, and customer preferences, while managing food costs effectively.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, and stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain optimal supply levels.
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in all areas of the kitchen.
• Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
• Manage kitchen schedules, workflow, and delegate tasks efficiently to meet service demands.
• A relevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience working as a Chef or in a senior supervisory kitchen role for a minimum of [Insert required years, e.g., three] years.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of advanced cooking techniques and culinary trends.
