The role of the Chef at the cluBarham involves the provision of exceptional customer service in a high paced work environment. The delivery of quality products, quantity of products, quality of service and timing of service is something that our kitchen team prides itself on. The role of the Chef at cluBarham is integral to leading these values in the Kitchen and leading the team on shift following the direction of Head Chef and Sous Chef.

Key Responsibilities.

• Lead and live the Clubs shared values and vision
• Strong time management
• Ensure quality of product
• Deliver quantity of products
• Provide exceptional internal and external customer service
• Maintain timing of service
• Reporting requirements for major repairs to management
• Ensure that club facilities and equipment are always kept clean, attractive, and in compliance with company standards and local regulatory requirements
• Cooperate with anything the employer does to comply with WHS requirements

Qualification and Skills.

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
• Exceptional communication skills, verbal, written and listening
• Ability to use kitchen equipment efficiently
• Exceptional time management skills
• Ability to lead by example and use initiative
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Knowledge of all relevant compliance and industry regulations
