The Opportunity

We are seeking an Estimator to join our team in Thornton. This role supports NEPEAN Power’s continued growth within the Energy & Infrastructure sectors, with a strong focus on modular switchrooms, prefabricated electrical buildings, and engineered power distribution solutions.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates and tender submissions, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure submissions align with customer, technical, and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates for Energy & Infrastructure projects, including modular and prefabricated electrical solutions
  • Review technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to develop accurate costings
  • Assist with the preparation of tender submissions, schedules, pricing documents, and supporting material
  • Identify commercial and technical risks and escalate findings to support bid decision?making
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to confirm scope, assumptions, timeframes, and constructability
  • Liaise professionally with customers to clarify requirements and support technical or commercial discussions as required
  • Maintain accurate estimating documentation and CRM records
  • Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and templates
About You

We are looking for an Estimator who brings:

  • Experience in estimating for Energy & Infrastructure projects
  • Exposure to modular switchrooms, prefabricated electrical buildings, electrical distribution, or industrial power systems
  • Strong analytical and problem?solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational capability
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
  • Professional presentation and a customer?focused approach
