Mechanical Engineering Technician

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to support the performance, maintenance, and reliability of our modern agricultural machinery fleet. Working closely with management and machinery operators, you will help ensure equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimised throughout the cropping season.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance and repair of farm machinery and equipment.
• Plan and coordinate servicing and preventative maintenance programs.
• Inspect, test and diagnose mechanical faults and equipment issues.
• Analyse machinery performance and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical support to machinery operators and management.
• Manage workshop operations and spare parts inventory.
• Supervise casual staff when required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and machinery records.
• Assist with machinery operation during peak periods.

What We're Looking For

• Qualification or experience relevant to Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with agricultural, heavy vehicle or industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
